WHAT TO EXPECT AS A NEW PATIENT

Coming to a new chiropractic office can be daunting for many, especially if this is your first time seeing a chiropractor. We offer an initial consultation to determine if we can help with your problem.

We are going to make that transition much easier for you, outlining exactly what to expect in your first discussion with the chiropractor.

Once you have made your booking, which you can do online here, you will have an allocated time. You will receive a confirmation email prior to your first visit to confirm your time with you, answer any questions you may have, and help you with directions.

To gather all the information necessary to help you best, you will be asked to fill out our intake form. This form outlines your current problems and asks questions about your health history and profile.

You can fill this form out in the office—please arrive 10 minutes early—or complete it online beforehand to save time.

We’re here to make your first visit simple and comfortable. If you have any questions before your appointment, don’t hesitate to call or email us — we’re happy to help.”

Our Step-by-Step Process

Step 1: Initial Consultation — Understanding Your Health
You will sit down with one of our chiropractors and explain your current problem. Our chiropractors will ask you further questions about your health and your history to fully understand how best to help. Our number 1 priority here is to ensure you feel UNDERSTOOD.

Step 2: Comprehensive Examination — Getting the Full Picture
Once we have all the information about your health, if our chiropractor feels they can help you, you can proceed with a paid examination. The comprehensive examination will include a posture exam, neurological and orthopaedic examination, a chiropractic examination, and if necessary, we will take X-rays of your area of complaint.

The chiropractor will examine your entire body as a whole, not just the area that is in pain.

Step 3: Report the Findings — Clear, Honest Explanations
Once the examination is complete, the chiropractor will sit down with you and explain the findings. We make sure to do this in an easy-to-understand way.

Step 4: First Adjustment — Beginning Your Care
First Adjustment. After the examination, if it seems that you are a candidate for chiropractic care, the chiropractor will provide your first chiropractic adjustment. Depending on you, your preferences, body type, and condition, your chiropractor will use appropriate techniques. If you are not a candidate for chiropractic care, we will refer you to the person who can best help you.

Step 5: Ongoing Care — Working Together Toward Your Goals
At your next appointment, your chiropractor will provide a more detailed explanation of your condition and, if applicable, review the X-ray findings with you. The chiropractor will outline treatment options, explaining costs and recovery times. There will be no hidden surprises with our care. From here, we will work together to help you achieve your goals. Your subsequent appointments will consist solely of treatments. Re-examination will be performed periodically.

You will never feel rushed in your treatments. Your chiropractor will always examine your body at each visit and adjust where necessary.
